Hello Again!

I know, it's been forever since I've posted anything!  But we've been busy making some big transitions. Since I last checked in, we've made a 3,000 mile move across the country, taken an awesome family vacation along the way and been crazy busy getting settled in our new place.  It's been a lot so excuse me for my absence!

We broke up our cross country drive by visiting lots of friends along the way and also some super cool national parks.  We fed giraffes.

We climbed in cliff dwellings.

We hiked.

We played in snow in June.

We saw super cool dino bones.

And we climbed inside giant stone arches.

Of course my favorite part was visiting with friends we haven't seen in a long time.  It was so awesome to catch up with everyone.  Dakota's favorite part was visiting with everyone's dogs along the way.  She's really hoping for one soon.  So not happing.

We're unpacked for the most part and enjoying our new Northern California community.  So far we've spent tons of time outdoors and I've found awesome local goodies!  The growers market here is awesome and I couldn't ask for more local produce!  Even the non-organic stuff here is not sprayed.  It's pretty exciting for me.

Now that we're settled, I'm back to meal planning and cooking up delicious things.  I'll have some yummy things posted in the near future!

  4. Looks fun! Are some of these pictures taken in Colorado and Utah? We did a half-cross country move last year and some of your photos look familiar. Welcome to CA! I'm down south.

    1. yes! most of them are from NM, CO or UT. I seemed to not take my camera out until we were half way across the country!
